Halloween 2013 / Shredder costume
Made one of my kids this Shredder costume. I made the mask out of cardboard and tape and then used papier mache. The rest of the outfit was made by adding felt pieces to a sweat suit he already owned. His wife created the ninja turtle outfits for herself and their three kids.
Day of the Dead Altar
I created a Day of the Dead altar, celebrating my grandmother (she was an amazing woman).
All the great grand kids loved it.
I made the skeleton out papier mache and then painted it, and finished it off with a clear spray.
She loved to play loteria which is the Mexican bingo.
My grandmother loved birds, so I created birds form her old Mexican dresses that she used to wear all the time. Our plan is to use the birds on our Christmas tree this year.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Birthday Party
Masks were made using a pattern I found on the internet and felt. Using my sewing machine made the job fairly easy. Obviously pizza was served, and the kids loved it.
I used the same concept as the T-shirt Super Hero capes to make TMNT capes.
Even the adults got into the party.

Super Hero Birthday Party
My sister created different T-shirt capes for all the kids who attended. She made them from old T-shirts and felt.

Sweets Themed Graduation Party
Large cake, cookies and strawberry were made by using Papier Mâché. We had an assortment of baked goods.
Centerpieces for tables where made by filling mason jars with cake pops.
Jolly rancher lollipops were used to fill buckets and add color.

Candy Themed Graduation Party
The decorations where done with basic white butcher paper, markers and a little bit of imagination.
We began collecting candy ahead of time and purchased many of them while they were on sale. Used glass containers that I have been collecting for several years.
