Noah's Ark Birthday Party for twins

The goodie boxes were decorated with the theme of the story.

I made 50 animal masks (25 animals and two each).  I used colored felt to create the masks.

The tables were decorated with photos of the twins and matching the tables that coordinated with the colors of the rainbow.

The rainbow was a big part of the theme.

Two piñatas were homemade for the party (rainbow and ark).

Large ark was made and animals were purchased on Amazon to create different photo opportunities for the guest.

All the kids had a great time with the piñatas.

Noah's Ark Piñatas (Homemade) Ark and Rainbow

Started by making the shapes out of cardboard.

Then I covered them in newspaper and a flour and water paste.  Slowly adding flour to warm water (1/2 cup of flour to one cup of water).  Then gradually adding boiled water to the mixture until it thickens to the consistency desired.

After the newspaper dried, I painted a layer of Gesso and allowed that to dry before I started painting the shapes with acrylic paint (use the paint you prefer).

After the paint dried, I began adding the crepe streamer.  I cut the streamer to give the shape the desired look.

Nursery Rhyme Baby Shower

The centerpieces and food all revolved around Nursery Rhymes.  All decorations were made with foam board and markers, colored paper, mason jars, and flowers.

Prizes for games were placed in simple brown bags, they were then designed with Nursery Rhymes.  Basic markers were used.

Movie themed Co-ed Baby Shower

I asked the couple to select their favorite movies.  They selected 20 movies and I based the decorations and games on those movies. The posters were rubber cemented to black foam board and the movie reels were made from white foam board and markers.

While the party was going on, we played Ferris Bueller's Day Off in the Back.

The food and snacks were based on the movies as well.

We had an assortment of food aside from the movie snacks.

Games included making the baby out of play-dough, movie trivia, and a bottle drinking game.  The dad to be selected 12 men to join him.
